This year, Valour Health is doubling down on what matters most: delivering exceptional, consistent care for the veteran community.

By appointing a veteran ambassador, we’re creating a genuine point of connection for patients, someone they can relate to straight away. A fellow veteran who understands the realities of service, the challenges of transition, and what it takes to navigate health and wellbeing in the real world, including the DVA journey.

Paul’s story reflects the strength, adaptability, and leadership that continue long after uniform comes off. He brings lived experience, credibility, and a person-centred lens to conversations around routine, recovery, and life after service.

Just as importantly, Paul isn’t speaking from the sidelines. He’s also a patient himself and has personally chosen natural medicine and integrative care as part of his own health approach. That means he doesn’t just understand veterans, he understands the process: what it’s like to seek support, to find what works, and to move through the DVA pathway with persistence and clarity. He can speak to the benefits because he’s experienced them, and that makes his support practical, grounded, and real.

Paul is an Australian Army veteran, business owner, and advocate for balanced living and community connection. After ten years of service, including deployments to Timor-Leste and Afghanistan with 8/9 RAR, and later qualifying as an Army Medical Technician, he draws on lived experience to support meaningful conversations around wellbeing, routine, and life after service.

Since transitioning from Defence, Paul has remained actively engaged in veteran communities, promoting informed, person-centred approaches to health and personal responsibility. He is the founder of Vintage Ice Cream Cart, a Queensland-based boutique catering business, and values movement, routine, family, and time outdoors. Grounded in strength of mind, body, and spirit, Paul brings authenticity and resilience to his role as a Valour Health Veteran Ambassador.

As a part of Valour Healths continued efforts we now offer personal appointments with Paul, book your appointment with Paul here to book your appointment and kickstart your health journey today.
